Anna Love – Founder/President
This dynamic visionary provides extensive leadership and focus to CarePluss Pharma. Anna has directed her unwavering passion for improving the quality of life towards the establishment and management of Clinic’estetica in Mexico. Over the past 6 years, Anna and her team of highly skilled and talented physicians have provided thousands of patients, from all over the world, with the highest level of reconstructive and cosmetic solutions at their state-of-the-art aesthetic medical clinic. She frequently speaks at respected medical conferences and aesthetic forums on the procedures about the treatments and products that Clinic’estetica offers and has been regularly published in peer reviewed medical journals. This focused leader, along with her extraordinary team of chemists, bio-scientists, physicians and research staff, have conducted extensive research and development efforts to formulate, test and perfect a broad spectrum of safe, innovative pharmaceutical & cosmetic (cosmeceutical) products and treatments for personal care and aesthetic enhancement and rejuvenation.
Richard Nagle – VP, Sales/Marketing
Richard (Roy) Nagle, born in the United States, spent his youth and early years in the United Kingdom. A graduate of the prestigious Westminster Culinary School,London, England, he owned and operated the famous “The Recorder’s House Restaurnant” outside Cambridge, England. As owner and chef, with his culinary skills he delighted the famous and infamous, including “His Royal Highness, Prince Edward”. Upon his return to the US, Roy as he prefers to be called, successfully enjoyed another major career as an art dealer in Beverly Hills, California. His period of choice are the 20th century masters. Roy semi-retired in early 2000 and currently lives in the beautiful Adirondacks, in upstate New York. Not one to be idle for long Roy put his sales skills and knowledge to work raising funds for local and national charities, including Clinton Community College, Make a Wish Foundation, Concern, Go Red for Women – to mention a few. In June of 2010 Richard (Roy) Nagle and his life partner of 28 years, Michael Rubal, joined CarePluss Pharma as investors and Roy became an active part of the team.
Nick D’Antonio – Secretary
Mr. D’Antonio is the go-to-man and troubleshooter for both companies. Mr. D’Antonio works closely with the companys’ accountants, brokers and bankers on both sides of the border. Mr. D’Antonio is conversant in Spanish and therefore able to effectively communicate corporate policies so everyone is working in the best interests of both companies. He has assembled an exceptional team of professionals who (with leadership and oversight provided by Mr. D’Antonio) collectively execute and manage key business operations in a seamless and efficient manner. Mr. D’Antonio, who works closely with Anna Love on a daily basis, is co-founder of both Clinic’estetica and CarePluss. His dedication and tireless efforts have been an invaluable asset to both companies. Accordingly, Mr. D’Antonio has been an important force in the accelerated growth of Clinic’estetica and CarePluss.
Hugo Garrido Vigueras – VP, Operations
Mr. Vigueras will be responsible for CP’s daily operations starting in April 2007, as well as spearheading Pharmaceutical and Cosmeceutical product approval and registration, regulatory supervision with Salubridad (Mexico’s FDA) and same agencies in other countries. Hugo was the consultant / agent behind the approval process for Bio-Alcamid and Bioinblue. Hugo’s knowledge, experience and contacts in the importation of products into Mexico will benefit CP both financially and operationally. As will his experience in exporting and shipping.
Mr. Vigueras is fluent in Spanish, English and Italian, brings extensive experience with well-respected biotech companies and government agencies to the CarePluss executive team.
Team – Science
Carlos Perez – Sr. Cosmeceutical Chemist
This dynamic and creative pharmacological chemist is instrumental in CP’s cosmeceutical R&D innovations. Mr. Perez takes Anna’s ideas and concepts for treatments and turns them into marketable products. His extensive background includes natural substance pharmacological research as in parenteral nutrition for newborn babies at the Oasis Hospital, Baja CA and on the pharmaceutical side, he participated in the UCSD, School of Medicine’s Mexican research team for the Pharmacokinetics of Vancomycin and Gentamicin in American and Mexican patients. He is finalizing his MA in organic chemistry.
Mariana Jaime – Sr. Research Chemist Pharmaceutical Division
Chief of Percise Manufacturing – Ms. Jaime is a creative industrial chemist that was with LAMKIN DE MEXICO in their polymer department from February 2004 until she joined CarePluss in January 2008.
Hector Salgado – (Consultant)
Pharmaceutical Industry (Consultant) – Dr. Salgado has a 12 page bio on his many accomplishments in the Pharmaceutical field. He is a member of the Asociacion Farmaceutica De Tijuana, American Chemical Society. Association Farmaceutica Politecnica, and the founder of the Asociacion Quimica de Mexico. He has published many articles. Was the Dean of Students at the Tijuana University of Chemistry, taught at the University of Mexico, Mexico City and at UCSD in San Diego, CA. He brings form his years with Abbot Laboratories de Mexico, Searle de Mexico, knowledge and experience on every level, from research and development, manufacturing to compliance. He has been the consultant for CP from its inception and has brought to it the remarkable and talented team that has created all of the companies current products.
Salvador Valera Lamas, PhD – (Consultant) Chief Polymer Researcher
Chief Polymer Researcher (Consultant) – Dr. Valera, a talented chemist and polymerization specialist, heads CP’s pharmaceutical product research and development efforts. His skill in developing polymeric materials was recognized by UCSD, as he was an integral part of the team of scientists that developed the polymerization of the membrane that is the key part of San Diego County’s water purification system. Dr. Valera was selected as Chief Pharmaceutical Researcher because of his brilliant mind, tireless work ethic, inventive spirit and his ability to push the envelope to develop safe, effective polymer based pharmaceutical innovations.
Jose Luis Sanchez Palacio, PhD – (Consultant) Cosmeceutical Manufacturing
Cosmeceutical Manufacturing and Local Regulatory Affairs (Consultant) – Dr. Palacio is an integral to CP’s success, applying his expertise in obtaining regulatory approval in Mexico and other countries around the world. He is the Assistant Dean, School of Chemistry of the Autonomous University of Baja California, Mexico. Dr. Palacio served as the Mexican research team leader in the UCSD School of Medicine research on Pharmacocinetics of Vancomicin and Gentamicin in American and Mexican patients. He was awarded the prestigious Camara Nacional de la Industria Farmacéutica de Mexico for the development of a pharmaceutical Formulation of propranolol in sustain release. As part owner and production manager of Geomali Products in Mexico, Dr. Palacio created and produced more than 30 cosmetic and spa products enjoyed by affluent guests at upscale spas, resorts and hotels (i.e. Rancho La Puerta and Araisa Hotels) where the cosmetic and spa products exclusively.
